Ford NUGGET Plus high roof (2023 model)

Our experience with this model:

The special thing about all Nuggets is the so-called “two-room concept”.
Regardless of whether all the beds are set up or the entire family is sitting at the table, the kitchen and all cupboards as well as the toilet are fully accessible and usable at all times.
Five full-size seats make the concept unique and also suitable for everyday use by families.
While all Nugget competitors have similar external dimensions, the larger interior space in the Nugget is clearly noticeable. Every centimeter counts in the interior!

The Nugget Plus with high roof shown here is fully suitable for everyday use despite its extra length. While the high roof won't fit in any parking garage, it does allow for consistent headroom in everyday use.

If you want, you can leave the top bed set up while on vacation and still stand in the kitchen area. The upper sleeping area is pleasantly insulated, quiet and provides a feeling of security.
A big advantage for “wild campers” is that you can’t see whether someone lives in the car or whether it’s just parked. In comparison, a pop-up roof immediately identifies the driver as a camper as soon as the roof is put up.
The additional storage space is pleasant thanks to the slightly higher cupboards and the rear storage area in the high roof.

The PLUS version impresses with half a meter of additional length, which has it all:

Compared to its shorter brother, it offers significantly more storage space and an additional separable sanitary area with a solid Thetford bench toilet and an additional sink.
Especially in Corona times, we have learned to appreciate having a proper toilet and with the SOG system we make it almost odorless.
Due to the additional length, the vehicle hardly loses any of its suitability for everyday use. Even in short supermarket parking spaces, there is little or no protrusion at the back, as long as the nose can protrude over the parking space boundary. The comfort of the longer wheelbase is noticeable on long journeys.
