- a Ford partner (hereinafter “Ford Partner“called) and/or
- of Ford-Werke GmbH (hereinafter "Ford" called)
When you purchase goods or use services or give the Ford partner or Ford your consent to data processing for advertising purposes, certain data about you and your vehicle ("Personenbezogene Daten") collected.
With this declaration, the Ford partner and Ford inform you about which of your personal data the Ford partner and Ford as independent responsible parties for their own purposes use and to whom they pass on this data. Ford uses the personal data collected for the following purposes:
- to meet your requests (e.g. to provide services to you);

Repair, diagnosis and maintenance of your Ford vehicle
When your Ford vehicle was manufactured, it was given an individual number (the vehicle identification number or “FIN”) assigned. From the VIN, Ford partners and Ford can obtain certain information about your vehicle, including the model and age of the vehicle, the software used in it and its technical specifications.
In order to diagnose, analyze, repair or service your vehicle, the performing technician must process the VIN and certain diagnostic data and information about the current condition of your vehicle (e.g. what software versions are currently in use, the current mileage, etc .).
