Important information for our customers regarding the disposal of used batteries:
As a distributor of vehicle batteries, we are obliged to charge you a deposit of EUR 10 including VAT per vehicle battery in accordance with Section 7,50 of the Battery Act if you have not returned an old vehicle battery to us at the time of purchasing a new vehicle battery. The deposit will be refunded to you upon presentation of written or electronic proof of return in accordance with Section 10 Paragraph 1 Clause 4 of the Battery Act, which must not be older than two weeks at the time of presentation, or upon return of an old vehicle battery. You can either return the old vehicle battery directly to us free of charge (see imprint for address) or to a collection point set up by the public waste disposal authority (possibly subject to a fee). If the old vehicle battery is not returned to the distributor who collects the deposit, the person authorized to collect the data in accordance with Section 11 Paragraph 3 of the Battery Act who takes back the old vehicle battery is obliged, upon request, to confirm the return to you as the end user in writing or electronically without refunding the deposit. In this case, please send the return confirmation together with the deposit voucher back to us, stating your order number, in order to enable us to refund the deposit amount to you as quickly as possible.
Please note:
We will refund your battery deposit after you have sent us the disposal receipt (e.g. by email, fax or letter - see Legal Notice). Since used vehicle batteries are hazardous goods, they must not be returned to us by post or parcel service.
You will receive the amount back using the same payment method you chose when placing your order.
