The MT stand-by charger is used for fully automatic recharging and maintaining charge of the starter battery. The device is simply connected between the on-board battery and the starter battery and, depending on the charge level, delivers a trickle current (max. 2A) towards the starter battery. Since no current can flow in the opposite direction, the starter battery always remains optimally charged. Not suitable for lithium batteries.
