The modern EURO 6 engines have an intelligent alternator energy-saving control. As a result, the alternator does not run in many driving situations and the batteries are not charged.
In addition, the alternator only charges the batteries to 80% full.

With this charging booster you can ensure that the living area batteries are optimally charged at all times while driving - to a full 100% with a modern charging characteristic.

In layman's terms: The charging booster is basically the same as a modern 230 volt charger that reliably charges the batteries to the brim - only that it is not powered by the 230 volt socket at home, but rather by the 12 volt driver's battery.
The alternator recognizes this and diligently recharges the driver's battery.
