Our opinion about the product:
The perfect and inexpensive alternative to Dr. Keddo silver gugel, which is unfortunately no longer available.

The silver net ensures that the fresh water is automatically preserved with every new tank filling. Pure silver ions effectively protect the water and the fresh water system from contamination. The product is available for all container and tank sizes and only needs to be changed once a year.

The silver net guarantees a controlled release of biocidal silver ions into the surrounding water. The proven technology ensures that bacteria, viruses and fungi are killed/inactivated in the storage tank/fresh water tank. The storage capacity of the water achieved (water conservation) extends over the entire water-carrying system, so that there is effective protection against germ contamination or biofilm formation.

Mode of effectiveness:

The effect of the silver network is based on the release of pure silver ions (Ag+). These silver ions have a microbicidal effect in water in a concentration range (5 ... 80) µg/l against pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, yeasts/fungi and, to some extent, protozoa. Due to the non-specific mechanisms of action, no signs of resistance are known to date.

How it works:

1. Solvation
Water molecules (H₂O) release the silver ions (Ag+) from the silver network.

2. fluidization
Water movement ensures the transport of silver ions to all areas of the water system.

3. contact surface
The 3-dimensional textile knit creates a large silver-coated reaction surface - this ensures rapid preservation of the water.

Before you put the silver net into your tank, you should carry out a one-time basic cleaning and disinfection of your fresh water system.
